Twitter: True Dark Mode is finally coming to iOS Twitter
IOS users, owners of an iPhone with an OLED screen, can finally take advantage of the true dark mode of the Twitter social network on mobile.

Admittedly, the mobile application of Twitter has been offering a dark mode, allowing to switch from a white interface to an interface tending towards dark blue. But completely black mode was long overdue. Now the real dark world is available on iOS, pending Android

In seconds, you will go from light to shade

To activate it, you must - you can imagine - launch the application. Once the Twitter mobile app is open, you should at the top left click on your profile picture to join the menu, where appears directly, at the bottom left, a small bulb on iOS, equivalent of the crescent moon on Android placed at the same right, on which you just have to press to activate the dark mode.

If you prefer to go through the classic menu, then you must click on Settings and privacy, then on Display and sound, and finally click on Night mode. In the event that you have become a fan of the dark blue "intermediate" mode, referred to as Dim, it is always possible to prefer it to night mode, L.

With this important update, iPhone users with an OLED display will be able to save a little more battery life and rest their eyes.

  • Twitter's progressive web app evolves and wastes less space on Windows 10
  • The new version of Tweetbot on iOS has an optimized OLED night mode
  • Twitter has just launched its experimental app "twttr"
