Preliminary operation
The most comfortable solution for connect Amazon Prime to Twitch is to proceed from a computer. However, it is possible to complete the connection between the two services also from smartphones and tablets, necessarily using the browser of the device in use (eg. Chrome your android or Safari on iOS). In fact, although both Amazon and Twitch are also available in the form of applications for mobile devices, using the latter it is not possible to activate Amazon Prime or complete the connection with Twitch.
Having made this necessary premise, all you have to do to succeed in your intent is to follow the points listed below and possibly skip those you have already previously put into practice.
- Create an account on Amazon: Amazon membership is required to access the famous online shopping site and take advantage of all its features, including Twitch Prime.
- Activate Amazon Prime: to take advantage of numerous advantages on the famous online shopping site, such as shipments in one working day and access to numerous services such as Amazon Dash Button, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music Unlimited, Amazon Drive and, of course, Twitch Prime, it is necessary subscribe to a monthly or annual subscription to Amazon Prime. Activate Amazon Prime
As mentioned above, activate Amazon Prime is required to have access to Twitch Prime, thus eliminating advertisements and enjoying additional benefits, such as having restricted access to free game content, the ability to store your recordings for up to 60 days and to subscribe to a channel for free Twitch every 30 days.
To proceed, connected to the main page of the famous online shopping site, linger with the mouse pointer on the item Sign up for Prime e pulsing sul pulsating Sign up, it's free for 30 days to activate your free trial. On the newly opened page, click the button Sign up and use it for free for 30 days and identify the section Add a payment method, then enter your credit or debit card details in the fields Intestatary letter, Card number e Expiration date e pulsing sul pulsating Add your card.
Then enter the data relating to your residence in the fields Address, City, Province, POSTAL CODE e Phone Number and click on the button Use this address, then check that the information shown is correct and press the button Sign up now, 30 days free to complete the Amazon Prime free trial activation. If, on the other hand, you have already used the 30-day free trial in the past, to have Twitch Prime you must necessarily activate a subscription to Amazon Prime, choosing one of the available options: Prime monthly at a cost of 4,99 euros / month e Prime annual at a cost of 36 euros / year.
To proceed, click on the entry Sign up for Prime (top right), press the button Check out other plans to choose the subscription of your interest and put the sign next to one of the options between Prime (monthly) e Prime (annual), then check that the data reported in the sections Terms of Payment e Billing address are correct, presses the button Sign up and pay And that's it.
As mentioned above, you can also activate Amazon Prime from smartphones and tablets using the browser you usually use for browsing the Internet (eg. Chrome your android e Safari on iOS). Then connect to the Amazon website, tap on the item Log in present at the top, enter your login details in the fields Email e Amazon password e pulsing sul pulsating Log in.
Now, tap on the item Premium present in the top menu, press the button Sign up now, 30 days free (Sign up and pay if you have already used the free trial) and, if you have not yet added a credit or debit card to your account, enter the data in the appropriate fields and press the buttons Add card e Sign up now, 30 days free (o Sign up and pay) to complete Prime activation.
Connect Amazon Prime to Twitch
Once you've created your Amazon account and activated Prime, you're finally ready for connect Amazon Prime to Twitch and take advantage of all the advantages that I have indicated in the previous paragraphs.
To connect Amazon Prime to Twitch, connected to the official website of the video sharing platform, click on the item Check out Twitch Prime, and on the newly opened page, click on the options city e Continue. Now, if you already have a Twitch account, enter your login details in the fields Username e Password e pulsing sul pulsating Log in, otherwise select the item SUBSCRIBE to create a new account.
Then enter the data required for registration in the fields Username, Password, Birthday ed Email, place a check mark next to the option I'm not a robot but I will verify your identity and the pulse rate SUBSCRIBE.
On the screen Link Twitch account, verify that the indicated Amazon account is correct (it should be the same with which you previously logged in) and presses the button Confirmation to complete the link between Amazon and Twitch. In some cases, you may be asked to re-enter your Amazon account login credentials.
If you are wondering if it is possible to connect Amazon Prime to Twitch from smartphones and tablets, the answer is yes. However, even in this case, it is not possible to proceed using the Twitch app for Android and iOS devices but it is necessary to proceed using the browser of the device in use.
The procedure is the same as described above for computers. Then connect to the Twitch Prime website, tap the button Log in at the top right, enter your login details in the fields Username e Password e pulsing sul pulsating Log in. If, on the other hand, you don't have an account on Twitch yet, tap on the item SUBSCRIBE, insertion and date richiesti nei campi Username, Password, Date of birth ed Email e pulsing sul pulsating SUBSCRIBE.
After logging into your account, tap on the item Check out Twitch Primepigia sui pulsanti city e Continue and press pulsating Confirmation to complete the connection with Amazon Prime.
Disconnect Twitch from Amazon Prime
If you have second thoughts, you can disconnect Twitch from Amazon Prime at any time. All you have to do is log into your account on the video sharing platform and remove Amazon from the links section.
To proceed, connect to the Twitch website, click the button Log in, enter your login details in the fields Username ed Email and click on the button Log in (if asked to verify your identity, put the check mark next to the item I'm not a robot e pulsing sul pulsating Continue).
Now, click on yours nickname at the top right, choose the option Settings from the menu that appears and, in the new page open, click on the item Connections. Press the button Disconnect relating to Amazon and confirm your intention by clicking on the button Yes, log out.
By doing so, you will no longer be able to enjoy Twitch Prime benefits. However, you should know that your Amazon Prime subscription will remain active and, in the future, you will be able to link the two services again.
