Chromebook 11 N7: the low-cost laptop for school

Acer designed the Chromebook 11 N7 (C731), specially for use in the education sector: durable design, silent operation without fans so as not to disturb, and able to resist in the hands even of the most rowdy students. It is no coincidence that it has passed rigorous military tests. In short, a “battle” model for the school.

The Acer Chromebook 11 N7 in fact, it complies with US MIL-STD 810G military standards which guarantee its strength, resistance and quality. Withstands up to 60 kg of force applied on the top cover, the shell and hinges are reinforced to withstand twisting and other stresses such as, for example, the simple transport inside a backpack. If it falls from a height of less than 122 cm it does not fall apart thanks to the protection of the corners and to the rubber layer surrounding the keyboard. It can happen that it accidentally falls off a counter. A special cover makes it easy to grip and helps prevent it from slipping out of your hands, while the keyboard and touchpad are designed to withstand even the infiltration of liquids through a system that slides them away from the key internal components.

Extremely silent

The Acer Chromebook 11 N7, as already mentioned, it is fanless not only to make it as silent as possible, but the absence of air outlet grilles avoids the classic problem of dust accumulation by minimizing maintenance. The novelty of this model is the presence of hollow keys, (almost) impossible to remove by students who delight in the disassembly and (perhaps) reassembly of hi-tech devices, and which are also more comfortable to use than traditional ones.
