After a quiet summer for Apple, the Cupertino company hit hard in September with the launch of two iPads, the Apple Watch Series 7 and the iPhone 13.
Apparently not having played all its cards, Apple has decided to hold an Unleashed event. It was an opportunity for the brand to present three of its flagship products, which were already expected during its previous Keynote: the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro and its AirPods 3.
AirPods 3
There was an urgent need for Apple to update its AirPods, which are one of the company's most popular products and have not seen an update since March 2019.
After a long wait, this delay may have been caused by production difficulties due to the health situation, but also by Apple's desire to reserve such a launch just before the Christmas period.
Anyway, for this new generation of standard AirPods, their design and functionality have been improved, to the point of resembling the Pro models.
Their "stems" are shorter, for example, and they feature new silicone tips for better passive noise isolation. Active noise cancellation will remain a feature reserved for higher versions.
As for their charging case, too, it looks more like that of the AirPods Pro, namely with a rectangle configuration.
MacBook Pro 14 inches
Apple's silicon revolution, with the integration of the M1 chip on its Macs, has aroused positive reactions from users of the brand.
In November 2020, Apple updated two of its 13-inch MacBook Pros with its new processors, while leaving the other two models behind.
This year, it's the turn of the rest of its Intel MacBook Pros to be redesigned. This involves a major redesign, a 14-inch screen that's bigger than its predecessor, and the inclusion of either the M1 Pro or M1 Max chip, as your choice, with unprecedented processing power.
MacBook Pro 16 inches
What about the biggest MacBook Pro in the Apple stable? The 16-inch model definitely needed fixing, since it didn't have any M1 options, unlike the 13-inch models.
As a result, as with the 14-inch, the addition of the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips was then Apple's priority for its 16-inch Pro. We also liked that its new design has been revamped, with a new titanium case, the removal of the Touch Bar and the return of the MagSafe.
